Aberdeen went through to the quarter finals of the Scottish Cup with a 1-0 victory away to Hutchison Vale.
In the only all-Scottish Women's Premier League Third Round tie, Rebecca Dempster scored the only goal of the game to send the former Finalists into the last eight.
Celtic gave their new management team of David Haley and Fiona Dainty a good start by running out 9-1 winners over Queen's Park. Hibernian are also safely through after a Rachel Walkingshaw double, Joelle Murray, Kirsty Smith, Kayleigh McConnell and Lizzie Arnot gave them a 6-0 success over Falkirk Res.
Spartans eased into the quarter finals by beating Cowdenbeath 7-1 but it was not such a good day for their reserves as they went down to a 13-1 defeat at Rangers. Helen Lyon did give Spartans a shock second minute lead but Rangers ran riot from that point, Amy Harrison netting five times along with Megan Sneddon (2), Hayley Cunningham (2), Megan Foley, Natalie Ross, Rachel Halliday and a Heather Laing own goal.
Glasgow Girls caused an upset when knocking out SWFL Division One opponents Paisley Saints 4-2 and fellow Division Two West side Viewfield Rovers also made it through to the last eight with a 1-0 victory over Cumbernauld Colts.
