Germany made a roaring start in Group B of the UEFA Under-19 Championship Finals as they ran out 5-0 winners over Norway at Parc y Scarlets.
All five goals came in the first half as the Germans, who remarkably failed to qualify for last year's Finals, announced their intentions this time around.
Linda Dallmann scored twice inside the opening fifteen minutes and Pauline Bremer soon added a third as the Germans took control of the match.
Lina Magull missed a chance to extend their lead she missed a penalty, firing over the bar, but Bremer then added two more goals to complete her hat-trick ahead of the interval.
In the other group game, holders Sweden had to settle for a point when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Finland at Stebonheath Park.
The Swedes got off to a great start when Marija Banusic gave them the lead after only four minutes but Finland battled back after the break and earned themselves a deserved share of the spoils when Juliette Kemppi equalised on the hour.
