Brent takes temporary charge
 Women's Football News 23 Aug 2013
England Under-23 Head Coach Brent Hills will take temporary charge of the England senior women's team for the two upcoming World Cup qualifiers next month.
Hills, who was Assistant Coach to Hope Powell in the senior women's team set up, will lead England into a vital double header in September to kick off qualification for Canada in 2015.
The FA is advertising for the vacant position of England Women's Senior Head Coach and also for the new position of Head of Elite Women's Development. Role profiles can be found for both positions by visting: http://jobs.thefacareers.com/jobs_apply/
The Lionesses open their campaign against Belarus, at the Goldsands Stadium, home of AFC Bournemouth, aiming to make it to their third successive World Cup Finals after reaching the last eight in both 2007 and 2011.
England faced Belarus twice in qualifying for Euro 2009. Two goals from Alex Scott helped guide England to a 4-0 win at Walsall in October 2007, while Fara Williams bagged a hat-trick en route to a comfortable 6-1 victory in Minsk seven months later.
Portsmouth's Fratton Park will stage the England Women's second World Cup 2015 qualifier against Turkey five days later on Thursday 26 September.
England last met Turkey in qualifying for the 2011 World Cup, winning both matches 3-0. The home game, in July 2010, was Rachel Yankey's 100th international appearance and she captained the side, and scored, on her big day.
