Glasgow City's seemingly relentless push for the Scottish Women's Premier League title gathered further momentum with an 8-1 victory over Spartans.
Suzanne Lappin led the scoring with a hat-trick and she was joined on the scoresheet by Joanne Love, Eilish McSorley, Sarah Crilly, Ruesha Littlejohn and Danni Pagliarulo with Spartans' consolation coming from Alana Marshall.
City's lead at the top has been extended to seven points due to second placed Hibernian being held to a 1-1 draw by Celtic. Siobhan Hunter was on target for Hibs, with Celtic replying through Heather Richards.
Aberdeen meanwhile moved themselves to within a single point of third place after goals from Nicky Wright and Susan Murray gave them a 2-1 win against Rangers, who found the net through Hayley Cunningham.
Forfar Farmington continue to lead the way in the bottom section following a 2-2 draw against Hamilton Academicals. Cheryl McCulloch and Carolina Richardson netted the goals for the Accies, with Forfar's strikes coming from Caroline Heron and Aimee Godfrey.
Hutchison Vale follow on after a Laura Gavin hat-trick spearheaded their 6-2 victory away to Kilwinning SC. Tracy Donachie, Bryony Ross and Jamie Torrence weighed in with the other goals for Hutchie.
The two teams at the foot of the table met each other and it was Buchan Ladies who scored eight times without reply against Falkirk. Hannah Stewart, Lydia Johnston and Leanne Reid each bagged doubles with Julie Reid and Shelley Sutherland completing the tally.
