Fanzone ahead of Merseyside derby
 Women's Football News 11 Sep 2013

Liverpool are inviting fans to come down to Halton stadium to be part of an exciting evening of FA Women's Super League action and family fun, when they take on Everton Ladies on Thursday 12th September, 7.30pm.

Both sides will be looking forward to showcasing the skills and quality of women's football on national television when the game is broadcast live on BT Sport.

It is the last time the two sides will meet this FA WSL season and it promises to be a Merseyside derby not to be missed. The Reds will want to continue their march at the top of the table in The FA WSL and the Blues will be up for the challenge following their draw 1-1 at Doncaster Rovers Belles. With tickets costing only £5 for an adult and £2.50 for children and concessions, the match offers a perfect family occasion to watch women's football at an affordable price. In addition, Liverpool FC season ticket holders can enter free of charge on production of their season ticket.

Prior to seeing the two teams in action, fans aged 5-17 years old are invited to take part in a FREE, interactive fanzone, brought by Continental Tyres. Games include batak boards, a speed cage, a target shoot inflatable plus a new trailer that houses digital stations and the FA WSL trophy, Cyprus Cup and FA WSL Continental Cup. Some players from Liverpool Ladies will be in attendance to meet and greet the youngsters and staff from Liverpool FA will be on hand to provide information on local football opportunities.

The loveable FA WSL mascot Berry the bear and Liverpool FC mascot Mighty Red will also be in attendance and to add to the enhanced fan experience, there will be hair braiding and face painting, all of which will take place outside the stadium from 5.30pm. All the U16's who register at the fanzone will get free entry into the game.
