Stunning fightback sets up title showdown
 Women's Football News 15 Sep 2013

Doncaster Rovers Belles 3 (Sigsworth 34, Bright 38, Little 45)
Bristol Academy 4 (Natalia 47,89, Rose 66, Heatherson 82)

A stunning second half fightback gave Bristol Academy the victory and hopes of winning the Super League title for the first time.

Doncaster started brightly with Sue Smith shooting off target from a good position and Jess Sigsworth having a shot blocked after a good run into the area. Katie Brusell also had a long-range effort saved by Siobhan Chamberlain.

The visitors threatened when Natasha Harding found a way through, forcing keeper Nicola Davies to get down bravely to block. Davies also kept out Natalia's angled effort.

Sigsworth opened the scoring after getting on the end of a long ball and slotting past the advancing Chamberlain.

Mille Bright finished from 12 yards following Smith's knock down and Leandra Little made it 3-0 with a neat lob after getting on the end of a good ball from Bright.

Natalia gave Bristol hope soon after the restart, finding the net with a shot on the turn and Jemma Rose added a second, firing through a crowded area.

Natalia then squared to substitute Ann Marie Heatherson, who equalised with a close range tap in.

Just a minute from time, Natalia scored the winner, bundling the ball into the net after finding herself unmarked.

Academy therefore going into the final match of the season with Liverpool needing to win in order to be Champions but, such is the closeness of the top three, they also require the win to be certain of a Champions League place.
