Arsenal points deduction shock
 Women's Football News 16 Sep 2013
Arsenal Ladies FC have been charged with fielding an unregistered player under FA WSL League Rule 8P(i).
The charge relates to Katie Chapman, who appeared as a substitute for Arsenal FC during their FA WSL match against Liverpool on Saturday 3rd August 2013.
The League Management Committee ordered that the three points gained from the game on 3rd August be deducted from the club's total as result of this breach.
Arsenal Ladies FC have confirmed they do not intend to appeal the League Management Committee decision.
As a result of the decision, it is now confirmed that both Liverpool and Bristol Academy will now be playing in the UEFA Women's Champions League next year, regardless of the result of their title decider on 29th September.
