Glasgow City clinched their seventh successive Scottish Women's Premier League title with a 4-0 victory away to second placed Hibernian.
City went into the game requiring a point in order to be confirmed as Champions once again, with three matches left to play, and duly picked up the result they needed with Leanne Ross netting two first half penalties and completing her hat-trick after the break, before Joanne Love added the fourth.
Spartans are still in with a chance of the runners-up spot and narrowed the gap on Hibs by winning 3-2 at Rangers. Lana Clelland gave Spartans a first half lead with Megan Foley equalising after the break. Sarah Ewens put Spartans back in front and although Natalie Ross levelled the scores once more, Clelland scored her second late on to give the Edinburgh side the points.
Celtic are further two points behind Spartans after their 2-1 victory over Aberdeen.
Forfar Farmington made it seven victories in a row in the bottom half of the table when beating Buchan Ladies 3-0. Aimee Godfrey gave Forfar the lead and they went on to add further goals through Caroline Heron and Cat Gallacher.
Cheryl McCulloch bagged a hat-trick as Hamilton Academicals won 7-1 against Kilwinning SC. Cara McBrearty added a brace and other strikes from Carolina Richardson and Gillian Sloey keeps the Accies still in with a chance of finishing on top of the bottom section.
Falkirk meanwhile claimed only their second victory of the season but it was a result that keeps their survival hopes alive. Nicole Pullar scored twice and Michaela Brown added the other as Falkirk defeated Hutchison Vale 3-2.
