With Nottingham Forest not having a game, Newcastle Utd took the opportunity to replace them at the top of the Northern Division with a 2-0 victory away to Sheffield Utd Community, Amy Perch giving them the lead and Siobhan Jones adding the second. Ellie Gilliatt meanwhile struck a hat-trick as Sheffield FC moved into third place by winning 6-2 at Derby County. Ashton Crouch added a brace and Millie Kenyon was also on the scoresheet, with Derby replying through Portia Badach and Stephanie Middleton. In the other game, Bradford City and Leeds Utd battled out a 3-3 draw in a game which was notable for two hat-tricks, Rebecca Kendell netting all three goals for Bradford and Emma Bentley bagging a treble in reply for Leeds.
Wolverhampton Wanderers kept up their good start to the season in the Midland Division by scoring six without reply against Leicester City Ladies. Aimee Higgins gave Wolves the lead which was quickly doubled by Jade Hewitt, before Chloe Dodd and Jordan Timmins-Ray each netted doubles to wrap up the win. Wolves lead the way by three points with Coventry City in second place after they opened up their campaign with a 10-0 victory over Loughborough Students. Karen Clough led the scoring with a five-goal haul and Alison Livermore weighed in with four, with Sami Ryder completing the tally for the Sky Blues. Cardiff City Ladies meanwhile won 1-0 against Stoke City, Cori Williams netting the only goal of the game.
In the Southern Division, Charlton Athletic replaced West Ham Utd at the top of the table by beating them 4-2. Sophie McLean gave the Hammers an early lead which was cancelled out a minute later by Emma Harrison and although Melanie Abegglen put West Ham back in front midway through the second half, the Addicks went on to take the points with late strikes from Clare Rogers, Alice Singyard and Eliz Ibrahim. The other game in the division also resulted in a 4-2 victory for Portsmouth against Gillingham. Ellie Crabb scored a hat-trick and Hannah Reed the other to earn Pompey their first points of the season after having been beaten in their opening two matches.
