Glasgow City were presented with the Scottish Women's Premier League trophy following their 3-0 victory over Celtic on Sunday.
Suzanne Lappin scored twice and Leanne Ross added the other goal to give City their eighteenth win in nineteen matches and a seventeen point lead at the top of the table.
The battle for the second place may well go down to the last game after Hibernian were beaten 3-2 at home by Rangers. Rachel Walkingshaw did score twice for Hibs but a Megan Foley double and Hayley Cunningham strike gave Rangers the points and gained some revenge for their Scottish Cup semi final defeat seven days earlier.
Spartans kept up the pressure on Hibs by winning 3-2 away to Aberdeen. Sarah Ewens bagged a brace and Trisha McLoughlin added the other to keep the Edinburgh side still in with a chance of the runners-up spot, despite the home side replying through Rebecca Dempster and Nicky Wright.
Forfar Farmington meanwhile made it seven wins in eight matches with an 11-1 success against Kilwinning SC. Caroline Heron had a great day in front of goal, netting six times in total, while Abbi Grant and Aimee Godfrey weighed in with doubles and Alana Bruce completed the tally.
Hamilton Academicals made sure of staying two points behind Forfar after they defeated Falkirk 7-2. Carolina Richardson hit a hat-trick for the Accies, Gillian Inglis added two and there was one apiece from Clare Gemmell and Cheryl McCulloch.
Buchan Ladies picked up a precious point in their battle against relegation when sharing a 3-3 draw with Hutchison Vale, the prolific Hannah Stewart netting a hat-trick for Buchan.
