Coventry City moved up into fourth place in the Southern Division after running out 5-0 winners away to Chesham Utd.
Hayley Ladd drove home a low shot to give the Sky Blues the lead and Destiney Toussaint set up Natalie Brace to score the second. Brace put Coventry further ahead with her own second goal, before Helen Dermody made it four on the stroke of half time, following up to score after Toussaint's original shot had come back off the bar. Natasha Lynch rounded off the scoring during the second with a header as Coventry recorded their biggest win of the season so far and left Chesham rooted to the bottom of the table after seven straight defeats.
Meanwhile Keynsham Town broke their duck by recording their first victory and points of the season, 4-1 against West Ham Utd. Leanne Lapham was the hero for Keynsham as she netted two first half goals and went on to complete her hat-trick from the penalty spot, then substitute Hari Sabic added the fourth via another penalty. Kelley Blanchflower scored a late consolation goal for the Hammers (see match report).
The other three matches in the division fell victim to the weather.
