Glasgow City are one match away from completing another unbeaten season in the Scottish Women's Premier League after scoring nine without reply against Spartans.
Christie Murray led the scoring with a hat-trick and Joanne Love weighed in with a brace, whilst there was one apiece from Denise O'Sullivan, Ruesha Littlejohn, Suzanne Mulvey and Lisa Robertson.
Spartans' defeat all but confirms Hibernian as the runners-up despite them going down to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Celtic. Fiona Brown and Chloe Arthur netted the goals for Celtic, to leave them still in with a chance of a top three finish, with Hibs' consolation coming from Lizzie Arnot.
Rangers will also have their eyes on third place following their 3-0 victory over Aberdeen. Lisa Swanson, Natalie Ross and Erin Cuthbert were all on the scoresheet for Rangers to keep themselves in the top four going into the final match.
In the bottom section, Hamilton Academicals climbed into seventh position above Forfar Farmington by beating them 2-1. Gill Inglis and Carolina Richardson were on target for the Accies, with Forfar replying through Caroline Heron.
Laura Gavin and Laura Dunn each scored hat-tricks as Hutchison Vale ran out 7-0 winners over Kilwinning SC. Jennifer Malone added the other goal to leave Kilwinning second from bottom and with an anxious last match of the season as they bid to escape relegation.
Falkirk meanwhile kept their survival hopes alive with a vital 2-0 victory over Buchan Ladies. A win would have eased Buchan's fears but goals from Nicole Pullar and Jade Gallon gave Falkirk the points whilst Buchan lost key striker Hannah Stewart with an ankle ligament injury.
