Trust shows faith in Yeovil
 Women's Football News 24 Oct 2013

Trust shows faith in Yeovil - 24 Oct 2013 - Women's Football NewsFollowing on from their strong backing for local Winter Olympian Donna Creighton, Yeovil Town Community Sport Trust has cemented its reputation for backing female sport with the announcement that they are to be the new main sponsor of Yeovil Town Ladies FC's dynamic young Reserve team.

This season the Yeovil Town Ladies Reserves are playing in the new FA WSL Development League against Reserve teams from clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea and Bristol Academy, so the partnership with Yeovil Town Community Sports Trust is ideally timed as the team looks to step up to the next level.

The Reserves' new shirts, which sport the Yeovil Town Community Sports Trust logo, will be worn by the most talented and dynamic Reserve team the club has ever had as the squad develops to be ready for the start of the full FA WSL season in 2014.

Commenting on the deal, Chairman of Yeovil Town Community Sports Trust, Stephen Allinson said: "We are delighted to be sponsoring the Yeovil Town Ladies reserve squad this year. Our vision as a trust is to enhance all sport throughout Somerset and our ladies team is a shining example of what can be achieved through hard work and dedication. With the growth of ladies football throughout the country, we look forward to working closely with the club and playing our part in the development of the game in Somerset and beyond."

On behalf of the club, Chairman David Mills was thrilled with the deal. He said: "It is fantastic to have Yeovil Town Community Sports Trust backing the reserves. They have been great supporters of us for many years and it is excellent that the Trust logo is now on the Reserve team shirts, especially as the reserves will be playing some of their games this season on one of the pitches at Alvington in Yeovil. Yeovil Town Community Sports Trust do a lot of great work in the community to promote many sports, not just football, so I would urge everyone in the area to check out the Trust's work."
