Da Costa pens new deal - 30 Oct 2013 - Women's Football NewsAmanda Da Costa has extended her contract with FA WSL Champions Liverpool until 2015.
The American midfielder played a pivotal role as Matt Beard's side won an historic Women's Super League title in her first season with the Reds. She scored two of the goals as Liverpool defeated Arsenal 4-0 at the Emirates Stadium early in the season, a result which turned out to be the launchpad for their successful title challenge.
Da Costa will be a key performer as Liverpool compete in the UEFA Women's Champions League for the first time in their history in 2014 as well as starting their WSL title defence.
"I am looking forward for the 2014 season with the Liverpool Ladies as we begin to defend our title," Amanda told Liverpoolfc.com.
"The club has made tremendous strides this past season and we are all hoping to continue to improve both on and off the pitch.
"I am excited for what the future holds for the club and am ready to get back to Liverpool."
