Buchan Ladies guaranteed themselves survival in the Scottish Women's Premier League by winning their crucial clash 3-1 against Kilwinning SC.
Sophie Anderson scored twice and Vanessa Silcocks the other to ensure that Buchan will stay in the top flight next season whilst Kilwinning, who began the campaign as the other newly promoted side, will finish in the bottom two.
Falkirk are the other team which occupies a bottom two position after they went down to a 2-1 defeat away to Forfar Farmington. Caren Webster and Ann Taylor were on target for Forfar, with Falkirk replying through Nicole Pullar.
The victory was not enough to give Forfar top spot in the bottom section though, instead that went to Hamilton Academicals following their 5-2 victory over Hutchison Vale. Gillian Inglis and Carolina Richardson each netted twice for the Accies whose total was completed by Kirsten McGuire, while Michelle Russell and Anna Donald responded for Hutchie.
Champions Glasgow City made sure of completing an unbeaten campaign by scoring seven without reply against Aberdeen, Leanne Ross and Christie Murray each bagging braces along with one apiece from Ruesha Littlejohn, Eilish McSorley and Suzanne Lappin.
Hibernian sealed the runners-up spot as they defeated local rivals Spartans 5-1. Sarah Laverty and Lizzie Arnot each scored twice with Lucy Graham adding the other, Spartans' consolation coming from Lana Clelland.
Meanwhile the Old Firm clash went the way of Celtic who beat Rangers 2-1, Chloe Arthur and Alyshia Walker getting on the scoresheet to give Celtic the result they needed to take third place, narrowly ahead of Rangers who replied with a goal from Erin Cuthbert.
