Megan Sneddon has been named the Scottish Sun Players' Player of the Year at the 2013 Ladbrokes Scottish Women's Football Awards.
The Rangers midfielder lifted the top award at the fifth annual awards ceremony at Hampden Park, after topping the four-strong short-list of players, voted for by fellow players across the divisions in Scotland. Sneddon's Rangers team mate Natalie Ross, Glasgow City's Suzanne Lappin, and Marie McGuinness of Queens Park were also nominated.
Megan, who lifted the International Player of the Year award in 2011, said: "This is just so unexpected, I'm absolutely delighted. It means a lot to win any award, but this one is extra special because you are being recognised by your fellow players.
"I would like to thank everyone who voted for me. I'm part of a great squad at Rangers, so thanks also go to my team mates, our head coach Angie Hind, and all of the staff at the club."
