Manchester City have made England striker Toni Duggan their third major signing of the WSL closed season.
The 22-year-old striker joins international teammates Jill Scott and Karen Bardsley at the Super League newcomers as they look to make an impact in their new league.
On leaving her old club, Toni said: "Leaving Everton is by far the hardest decision I have ever had to make.
"Everton has played a massive part in my life and I can't express enough my admiration and thanks to them for the opportunities and amazing memories that will live with me forever. The support of the coaches, staff, fans and fellow players over the years has been truly amazing and I can't thank them enough.
"As hard as it is, I just feel now is the time to move on and continue to challenge myself to become the best player I can be.
"I would like to personally thank Mo Marley, Andy Spence and Keith Marley for everything that they have done for me from the age of 10. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't even be playing the game, let alone playing for England. The work they have done for not only me, but Everton Ladies over the years has been special. That is something I will never forget.
"I am sure Andy will continue his great work at the Club and I would like to wish him and the girls all the best of luck in the future. I will always be looking out for their results because not only am I leaving behind some of my best friends but people I would class as family."
During her time with Everton, Toni won the F.A.Women's Cup in 2010 as well as appearing for them in the UEFA Women's Champions League and won the FA Young Player of the Year award in 2009, shortly before scoring in the Final as England won the UEFA Women's Under-19 Championships in Belarus.
She has now established herself as an England regular, scoring a last minute equaliser against Russia during the Euro 2013 Finals and netting a hat-trick against Turkey in a World Cup qualifying group match in September.
