Japanese youngsters enjoy Chelsea coaching session - 3 Dec 2013 - Women's Football News

Chelsea took time out in Japan on Monday night to deliver a coaching clinic for 50 local youngsters before continuing their preparations to face Sydney FC later this week.
The children, aged between six and 12, joined the squad for some skill sessions in Okayama as the players work towards their debut in the International Women's Club Championship on Wednesday.
The local children were particularly excited to see home star Yuki Ogimi, while England internationals Laura Bassett, Rachel Williams and Eni Aluko were particularly popular among the youngsters from local club Urayasu FC.
Laura said: "We were all delighted to come and meet the kids. The club takes its work in the community very seriously and it is an important part of when we travel to different parts of the world.
"It was amazing to see so many when we arrived. We knew the event was happening but they were lining up outside which was incredible."
After the session the children posed for photos with the players before watching the remainder of manager Emma Hayes' training and cheering on their new heroes. There was also a guest appearance by Chelsea Ladies mascot Bridget the Lioness before an autograph session with the players.
Urayasu FC club director Mr Kazuya Akasaka said: "It was a fantastic experience, especially for the girls in our group. Ladies football in Japan is growing and an experience like this will help these young players progress. We thank Chelsea, the players and the staff for the opportunity they have given us.
"Yuki is a big star in Japan and it is great to see her in a Chelsea shirt. The children were shouting her name all the way here."
More youngsters from Urayasu FC will be at Wednesday's game, after being gifted 120 tickets for the match.
