FA Women's Super League Champions Liverpool have announced the signing of star winger Gemma Davison at Anfield.
Gemma joins the club from Arsenal, where she progressed through their Centre of Excellence before achieving a regular place in the first team squad.
She also played in the Women's Professional Soccer League in the USA with a variety of clubs including New York Magic and Buffalo Flash. She rejoined the FA WSL and the Gunners in March 2012 following the breakdown of the WPSL's 2012 season.
After the announcement, Gemma said: "I am excited to embrace a new challenge with Liverpool Ladies and I am delighted to be a part of the squad that will be defending the title. There are so many talented players here that I am looking forward to playing alongside."
Manager Matt Beard added: "Gemma is a fantastic signing for us; she is a strong, talented player who has a great deal of experience and knowledge of the game.
"Her addition will add strength to the team, which will be vital for us going into a challenging season and the Champions League."
Gemma is the second new arrival for the Champions following the signing of England under-19 full back Martha Harris.
