Yeovil Town Ladies FC are delighted to announce the appointment of Michelle Yeowell as Reserve Team Manager.
Yeowell, who has been Assistant Reserve Team Manager since the start of this season, succeeds long time Reserve Team Manager Andy Dickinson, who stood down earlier this month due to work commitments.
Yeowell has an impressive background as she is a UEFA B licence coach, currently works at Somerset FA Centre of Excellence as a head coach and is the England Colleges Coach through her work with the Bridgwater College Women's Football Academy.
Commenting on the appointment, Michelle said: "I am extremely proud to accept the role of Manager for the Yeovil Town Ladies Development Squad. The opportunity to work in the FA WSL Development League will undoubtedly enhance my own coaching skills and development. I've been involved with the squad for several seasons as a player but now I'm looking forward to the challenges being Manager will bring and starting the second part of the season at the end of January."
Yeovil's Head of Football Operations, Sarah Lawler added: "Michelle is a very talented and committed coach who will really develop the group of talented and enthusiastic players we have in the Reserves team. The FA WSL Development League is all about bringing through young talented players in the club and supporting them to aspire to play first team football and I have no doubt that Michelle's dedication in this role will pay off in seeing some players make that step in our first WSL season."
