Cardiff Met Ladies continue to lead the way by five points in the Shared Access Welsh Women's Premier League following a 9-0 win against fourth placed Llanidloes.
Robyn Pinder sent the students on their way with a fifth minute goal with Ellie Sargent, Hue Cao, Ellie Curson and Emily Allen adding further goals ahead of half time. Sargent scored her second early after the restart, before Curson netted twice more to complete her hat-trick and Chloe O'Connor grabbed the final goal in the dying minutes.
Cardiff City FC consolidated themselves in second place by beating Aberystwyth Town 1-0, Hattie Powell scoring the only goal of the game on the quarter hour.
Swansea City meanwhile avenged their defeat to Wrexham seven days earlier by winning 1-0 in their return meeting, courtesy of a strike from Jodie Passmore in the 22nd minute.
Llandudno Junction are out of the bottom three following their 4-0 success away to Northop Hall, who are still seeking their first points. Aimee Todd and Sophie Owen both scored in the five minute spell leading up to half time and after the break, a Hannah Williams own goal extended their lead and Katie Bowe rounded off the scoring.
