Cardiff Met through to Final - 27 Jan 2014 - Women's Football NewsCardiff Met Ladies are through to the first ever Shared Access Welsh Premier Women's League Cup Final after running out 7-0 winners over Swansea City in their semi final on Sunday. 
The university side took a sixth minute lead through Emily Allen and added a second when Emily Brown netted on the stroke of half time.
Cardiff Met took a firm grip on the game early in the second half when Ellie Sargent scored twice in the space of a minute and Brown completed her double just after the hour mark. Chloe O'Connor further extended their lead before Laura May Walkley rounded off the scoring late on.
The other League Cup semi final between Llanidloes and Port Talbot Town was postponed due to the weather, as were the two scheduled league matches.
