Arsenal have signed Christie Murray from Glasgow City.
The 23-year-old Scotland international can play in both midfield and attack.
An industrious and creatively minded player, she impressed for Glasgow in the Champions League Round of 16 tie with Arsenal last November.
Murray came through the Scottish FA's National Performance Centre and has represented her country at all levels where she worked closely with Arsenal manager Shelley Kerr.
Christie Murray began her career at Celtic and played for Scotland in the UEFA Under-19 Championship Finals in 2008, scoring against Sweden. She was amongst the first intake of students at the Scottish FA's Women's National Academy at the University of Stirling and moved on to Glasgow City, although injury hampered her progress at one stage.
She made her Scotland debut against New Zealand at the Cyprus Cup in March 2010 and has been capped 21 times in all, scoring once.
General Manager Vic Akers said: "Christie's a fantastic player, and we're delighted she's agreed to join us. She's comfortable on the ball, with a great range of passing, she never stops running and working for the team. She has a great attitude, and she'll be a real asset to the squad."
