Midland Combination Solihull Ladies and Mansfield Town met each other for the second time in four weeks and once again, neither side will have been completely happy with the outcome. After sharing four goals in their previous encounter, this time they finished level at 1-1 with Solihull likely to be the more satisfied as they stay one point ahead of Mansfield. Naomi Hunter was on target for Solihull, with Mansfield replying through a strike from Rebecca Braithwaite. South East Combination Queen's Park Rangers have returned to the top of the table on goal difference, thanks to a 2-0 victory against third placed Milton Keynes Dons. Leah Jones marked her debut for the Hoops by giving them the lead on the quarter hour and Stacey Sowden wrapped up the win with the second goal late on, to take her side back above C & K Basildon. South West Combination Swindon Town made a swift return to winning ways on Sunday and their 1-0 success away to Shanklin sees them go eleven points clear at the top. Georgia Walters scored the only goal of the game in the nineteenth minute to get the Wiltshire side's title challenge back on course. At the other end of the table, University of Portsmouth gave their hopes of climbing off the bottom a shot in the arm with a 2-1 victory over Newquay, which moves them to within one point of the Cornish side.
