Christiansen joins Man City - 8 Feb 2014 - Women's Football NewsIssy Christiansen has left Birmingham City to link up with FA WSL newcomers Manchester City. 
The Blues confirmed that an undisclosed offer was accepted for the 22-year-old at the end of January.
Christiansen has been in talks with the FA Women's Super League's newest recruits for several weeks and today completes a move to Manchester City.
The England Under-23 international, who enjoyed her first call up to the Three Lions' senior squad last month, has been with the Blues since arriving from Everton in 2009.
The Macclesfield-born attacking midfielder etched her name in the history books by scoring the first goal of Blues Ladies' debut appearance at St. Andrew's during the UEFA Women's Champions League victory over Russian outfit FK Zorkiy back in September.
