Arsenal to play friendly double header
 Women's Football News 13 Feb 2014
Arsenal have announced two pre-season friendlies in the East Midlands region next week.
Shelley Kerr's new look side will play Derby County on Tuesday, February 18 before taking on Nottingham Forest two days later.
The match with Derby will take place at Borrowash Victoria, with a 7.45pm kick off, with Rolls Royce Leisure Club, Watnall Road, Hucknall, hosting the game against Nottingham Forest (7.30pm).
Forest manager Paul Cudby said: "It's a good opportunity for us as a club and a team to assess where we are against one of the best teams in Europe, let alone the country. We're fortunate to have some young players in the Senior squad with great potential, so to line up against some established England internationals will be a wonderful experience, and I'm keen to see the impact it will have on them."
Forest Ladies Director of Football Lisa Dawkins added: "I am really looking forward to seeing the NEW Arsenal, they have made many changes in the closed season and I personally think they are going to prove they are still the team to beat this season. Their pres-eason results have been emphatic against strong opposition, and the challenge for Forest Ladies is as exciting as ever, one I know I our players will rise to in terms of commitment and desire. It's also a great opportunity for the Nottingham community to come together and watch the most successful women's team in the country perform.
"Forest v Arsenal is always a great occasion and I can guarantee spectators won't be disappointed when they make the trip to Hucknall Rolls Royce to watch the game."
