Pompey increase pressure
 Women's Football News 4 Mar 2014
Portsmouth continue to close in on the top two in the Southern Division and are now just three points behind the leaders following their 1-0 win away to Tottenham Hotspur.
The only goal of the game came in the ninth minute when Lucy Quinn scored from close range following a good run and cross by Nadine Bazan.
Charlton Athletic meanwhile kept their title hopes alive with a 4-0 victory at Chesham Utd. The Addicks got off to a flying start with Kit Graham putting them ahead after only two minutes and Emma Harrison quickly added a second. Sam Pittuck increased Charlton's lead early in the second half and Graham rounded off the scoring with her second goal, midway through the second half.
Keynsham Town took a huge step towards survival as they recorded a fine 1-0 success away to Brighton & Hove Albion. Rachel Stowell scored the only goal of the game to give the Somerset side their third win of the season and open up a four point lead over Chesham.
