Paige starts new chapter at Yeovil - 6 Mar 2014 - Women's Football NewsYeovil Town have announced the signing of former Cardiff City Ladies midfielder Paige Stewart. 
This comes as the Glovers continue to build on their squad in preparation for the 2014 FA Women's Super League, with three new signings in as many months.
Stewart, at just 21, has previous playing experience under strong clubs and managers such as Bristol Academy and Cardiff City Ladies. First Team manager Sarah Lawler commented: "One of our ambitions for the club is to offer the South West's most talented players the chance to compete within the FA Women's Super League.
"We have been tracking Paige's progress since her early days of senior football at Forest Green Rovers and we are very pleased to welcome her to the club.
"She is a forward thinking player who wants to make things happen in the final third of the pitch and I have no doubt that she has the ability to make an impact in the FA WSL 2."
Expressing her excitement at joining the club, Paige commented: "I am looking forward to playing and being part of Yeovil Town Ladies FC. I feel really excited to be part of the team and for the new challenge of playing in the FA WSL 2."
The Glovers' opening home game is on Easter Sunday, 20th April at Sherborne Town FC, Raleigh Grove. Early bird season tickets are on offer at just £25 adults/£10 children & concessions.
