Penzance to hold summer festival
 Women's Football News 10 Mar 2014
Penzance Ladies FC have announced plans for a summer festival of football to be held on Sunday 13th July.
With the emphasis on new player development, local businesses will be asked to enter all-female work teams to offer their employees a chance to give football a try.
Existing Penzance Ladies players will act as team managers/coaches and mentors for the duration of the tournament. Matches will be played at 5, 6 or 7 a side as appropriate.
As many local school teams as possible will also be encouraged to participate and depending upon the level of interest, there is also a possibility of a separate competition for existing women's and girls' teams, and maybe a friendly match involving Penzance Ladies to end the day.
To express your interest, please call Scott on (07708) 292347.
Penzance Ladies are next in action against Newquay Celtic on Sunday 23rd March, kick off 2.30pm, at Penlee Park.
