Rolser injury blow for Reds
 Women's Football News 21 Mar 2014
Nicole Rolser is set to be out of action for a significant period of time after scans revealed that the German winger has suffered an anterior cruciate ligament rupture to her right knee.
The Liverpool striker suffered the injury after an innocuous fall in training on Tuesday and has sustained an injury similar to that of fellow midfielder Lucy Staniforth.
Manager Matt Beard said: "We are absolutely gutted that Nicole has suffered a cruciate ligament injury especially so close to the beginning of the WSL season.
"Nicole was a key player for us last season not only scoring but creating a number of goals and will be a major loss for the team.
"However, Nicole will still have a big part to play off the pitch this season and I have no doubt that she will return as a key player for the team."
Rolser faces missing the majority, if not all, of the upcoming season.
