England and Scotland both made winning starts to their UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship Elite qualifying round groups. England are over in Finland for their group and got the start they wanted when beating Denmark 1-0. After dominating matters for most of the match, Mo Marley's side took the points when Leah Williamson scored the only goal of the game in the 62nd minute. Next up for England on Monday will be Serbia, who were beaten 4-0 by hosts Finland in the other game. Scotland meanwhile are over in Slovakia for their group and notched up a 5-1 success against Iceland. Lucy Graham gave them the lead in the opening minute and Zoe Ness quickly added a second, before Graham found the net again midway through the first half.
