Two more points will do it for Huddersfield Town as they returned to the top of the table with a 4-0 victory over Chester-le-Street Town. Kate Mallin netted two of the goals for Huddersfield, who can now only be overhauled by Chorley, with Dominique Balmond and Emily Heckler joining her on the scoresheet.
Tranmere Rovers continue to finish the season well and notched up their biggest win of the campaign so far, 8-0 against Middlesbrough. Rachel Davison led the scoring for Tranmere with a four-goal haul, Kate McDonnell weighed in with a brace and there was one apiece from Becky Smith and Gemma Drury.
Leafield Athletic have secured themselves a top half place once again as they defeated Radcliffe Olympic 4-1 to ensure they will finish in fifth position. Charlotte Hughes netted twice for Leafield along with Leigh Dugmore and Hayley Wilford.
Curzon Ashton and Loughborough Students meanwhile completed their respective campaigns by sharing a 1-1 draw. Laura Garner was on target for Curzon, with Loughborough replying through Alice Kempski.
South East Combination
C & K Basildon face an anxious wait after they ended their fixtures with a 2-0 victory over Milton Keynes Dons. Karissa Rodney and Sara Sinclair scored the goals for C & K who have a two point lead at the top of the table but will be overhauled if second placed Queen's Park Rangers win their final match of the season.
Norwich City are all but certain of finishing in third place following their 2-0 win against Brentwood Town.
A potential fourth place finish was on offer for the winners as Enfield Town took on Denham Utd and it was Enfield who were victorious, winning 2-1 thanks to goals from Lizzie Kent and Louise Bennett.
Cambridge Women rounded off their season on a winning note, edging out Luton Town by the odd goal in five. Hannah Bodily was on target twice for Cambridge along with Laura Baker.
South West Combination
Exeter City have taken up the running in the chase after leaders Swindon Town, winning 3-2 away to Forest Green Rovers to virtually end the home side's title hopes. Tash Knapman was on target twice with Helen Kukor adding the other while Charlotte King and Ella Hitchcox replied for the home side.
It was a bad day for Chichester City as well as their chances faded with a 1-0 defeat to Shanklin, Susan Cullen scoring the only goal of the game for Mark Woodhouse's side.
Newquay will finish second from bottom in the table despite ending their season on a high note, beating Larkhall Athletic 3-1.
