Coventry City kept on the heels of Southern Division leaders Gillingham as an injury time goal gave them a crucial 2-1 victory over Keynsham Town.
The Sky Blues led at the break through a Natalie Brace goal which had been scored midway through the first half but Keynsham fought back and levelled the scores when Aimee Clark netted ten minutes after the restart. Keynsham looked to be on their way towards holding Coventry to a draw for the second time this season until Kim Walton popped up with a late, late winner.
Coventry are therefore five points behind on leaders Gillingham who defeated Cardiff City Ladies 4-2. Lisa Fulgence scored twice along with Jay Blackie and Charlotte Gurr while Cardiff replied through Bethan Lloyd and Lauren Townsend (see match report).
Charlton Athletic gained revenge for their defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion seven days earlier by winning the return match 2-1. Kit Graham opened the scoring for the Addicks on the quarter hour with Rosie Paye adding the second midway through the second half and although Lily Honor pulled a goal back for the Seagulls, Charlton held on for a result which takes them into fourth place.
Lewes are back in the mid-table position following their 3-0 victory over Chesham Utd. Kirstie Spice gave the Rookettes the lead and they went on to add further goals through Clare Trafford and Kelly Newton.
