Midland Division title winners Cardiff City Ladies signed off their season in style with a 3-0 victory away to runners-up Wolverhampton Wanderers. Zoe Atkins, Kierra Deeks and Leah Williams scored the goals to ensure Cardiff end the campaign unbeaten and put them in good heart ahead of this Sunday's Reserve Section League Cup Final against Bradford City at Stratford.
In midweek, Derby County came from behind to beat Sheffield Utd Community 3-2 and enhance their chances of a top half finish in the Northern Division. Camilla Newton, Dayna Randall and Harriet Heaney were all on target for Derby with Heather Craddock netting twice in reply for United.
In the FA WSL Development League, Manchester City stay on top of the Northern Division on goal difference following their 3-2 victory over Durham Women. Gemma O'Keefe (2) and Alice Hey netted their goals with Kate Bradley and Megan White replying. Aston Villa remain level on points with City after they defeated Doncaster Rovers Belles 5-2. Amy West, Emma Baptiste-Pilkington, Laura Cooper, Natasha Baptiste and Hayley Crackle were their markswomen with Ashleigh Mills and Rachel Stuart finding the net for the Belles. Everton went third by beating Notts County 5-0, Kerri Walsh scoring twice along with Danielle Sheen, Emily Hollinshead and Inayah Robinson-Greenidge, whilst Birmingham City were 3-1 winners over Liverpool.
Arsenal continue to lead the way in the Southern Division and are still six points clear following their 4-1 victory over Reading Women. Carla Humphrey gave them the lead in the opening minute and they added further goals through Freda Ayisi, Caroline Weir and Taome Oliver. Chelsea won 4-2 against Watford to stay in second place, just ahead of Millwall Lionesses who were 4-0 winners over London Bees thanks to Ciara Sherwood (2), Angela Kiobel and Josie Elliott. Alex Hurst was on target four times as Bristol Academy notched up an 8-2 success away to Oxford Utd, with goals from Georgia Evans, Kate Evans, Alys Hinchcliffe and Rebecca Holloway.
