Siobhan Jones scored twice and Claire Pitt the other as Newcastle Utd won their Northern Division clash 3-2 against Derby County, who replied through Dayna Randall and Cecilia Webb.
The last match of the season was played in the Southern Division with Frances Gamble, Lucia Leon and Andrea Marcoci giving Tottenham Hotspur a 3-2 victory over Gillingham, for whom Rachel Ahern and Rebecca Mackley were on target.
Arsenal are through to the inaugural FA WSL Development League Cup Final after beating Everton 5-2. Millie Shaw and Charlie Fitzpatrick did put Everton two goals ahead but braces from Carla Humphrey and Caroline Weir, plus a Freda Ayisi goal, turned the match around in Arsenal's favour. Their opponents in the Final will be Liverpool who were 3-1 winners away to Aston Villa with strikes from Claudia Walker, Beth Donoghue and Ellie Stewart.
One match was played in the Northern Division during the week, Notts County returning from Doncaster Rovers Belles with a 3-2 victory under their belts. Laura-Jane O'Neill scored twice and Amy Kay the other for County, with the Belles' replies coming from Hope Knight and Rachel Stuart.
Millwall Lionesses kept up their title push in the Southern Division after Abigail Igbavboa and Georgia Miller gave them a 2-1 win against Bristol Academy. The Lionesses are eight points behind leaders Arsenal who strengthened their position in midweek by scoring ten without reply past Watford. Caroline Weir hit a hat-trick along with Carla Humphrey (2), Taome Oliver, Leah Williamson, Frances Steele, Leigh Robe and an own goal. Reading Women meanwhile defeated Oxford Utd 4-0 thanks to a Melissa Fletcher brace, Rebecca Dandridge and Leigh Nicol.
