Combination Leagues round-up...
 Women's Football News 2 May 2014
Northern Combination
Huddersfield Town picked up the result they needed in order to clinch the league title and promotion to the top flight next season. A point would have been enough but doubles from Emily Heckler and Laura Porritt, as well as goals by Alice Linsell and Kate Mallin, put Town beyond the reach of all their rivals with a 6-0 victory over Wakefield.
Stockport County look to be in line to take a fourth place finish after they defeated Liverpool Feds 2-1, Jeneyah Webb and Bet Langford scoring their goals.
Tranmere Rovers occupy the next place following their 3-1 success away to Cheadle Heath Nomads. Lynn Carter, Elisha Price and Kate McDonnell scored the goals to virtually guarantee Tranmere a top half finish.
After five successive defeats, Sheffield Utd Community ensured their campaign ended on a winning note. United banished any remote chances of finishing in the bottom two when they won 3-2 at Chester-le-Street Town thanks to goals from Heather Craddock (2) and Chloe Lacey.
South East Combination
Norwich City are set to finish in the top three after sharing a 1-1 draw with Ebbsfleet Utd, who are out of the bottom two as a result.
South West Combination
Forest Green Rovers moved to the top of the table on Friday night with a 3-1 victory over Larkhall Athletic, given to them by a Sarah Stacey brace and Sam Hallsworth.
Plymouth Argyle appear to have matters firmly in their hands though and they have gone second following their 2-0 win against Southampton Saints. Argyle took the lead ten minutes before half time when Katie Middleton headed in a Becca Rose corner and Rose was also the creator of the second goal, this time her cross being converted by Ezme Wells.
Chichester City kept their slim hopes alive by beating Shanklin 2-1, after having beaten Southampton Saints 2-1 in midweek. Kirsty Willett and Kally Ambler netted both goals for the Sussex side in each of the games.
