 Women's Football News 1 Jun 2014
Glasgow City maintained their five point lead at the top of the Scottish Women's Premier League with a 1-0 victory against Celtic.

Rangers got back to winning ways as they scored fourteen times without reply past Forfar Farmington. Suzanne Mulvey led the scoring with a five-goal haul, Melissa Krnjaic weighed in with a hat-trick and there was one apiece from Lisa Swanson, Kathryn Hill, Hayley Cunningham, Erin Cuthbert, Steph Knox and Megan Foley as unfortunate Forfar caught the backlash from Rangers' first defeat of the season seven days earlier.

Spartans continue their steady climb up the table as they returned from Aberdeen with a 2-1 victory under their belts. Sarah Ewens netted both goals for the Edinburgh side, with the Dons replying through Hannah Stewart.
Gillian Inglis and Gillian Sloey were on the scoresheet as Hamilton Academical regained the mid-table position by winning 2-0 away to Buchan Ladies.
Inverness City leapfrogged Hutchison Vale in the table by defeating them 4-1 on their home turf, thanks to doubles from Hannah Gordon and Natalie Bodiam.
