Ellie Curson and Ann Marie Heatherson have both left Bristol Academy on mutual agreement.
Annie signed for Bristol Academy ahead of the inaugural WSL season from American team Buffalo Flash in 2010. The London-born and bred striker has since made over 50 appearances for the Vixens and scored 11 goals. Heatherson's role as an ambassador for the club has seen her spend many hours working in the community and the club would like to thanks Annie for her commitment over the past three seasons.
Annie wished to thank the fans and her team mates, saying: "I'd like to thank everyone that has supported me from the first day at Bristol Academy and the consistent support the fans have given the club and the welcome they have given me and the girls. I want to thank my amazing team mates, who are such an amazing bunch of girls. I wish them and the club the very best for the future."
Welsh international Ellie is a product of the Centre of Excellence and SGS College programme where in 2011, she signed her first FA WSL contract with the club. Ellie has since played over 30 games for the club including playing in the UEFA Women's Champions League in 2011 and scoring for the Vixens. Ellie is currently studying at Cardiff Metropolitan University.
The club would like to thank both Ellie and Annie for their hard work and commitment and wish them well with their future clubs.
