Hampton Ladies on the up
 Women's Football News 12 Jun 2014
Hampton Ladies on the up - 12 Jun 2014 - Women's Football NewsHampton Football Club only introduced female football three years ago, but they have already grown to become the largest provider of female football in the city of Peterborough and will run eight girls squads and open age ladies for the 2014-15 season.

The reputation of the club has grown exponentially because of their professional approach to introduce these teams. The club always ensures there is a suitable qualified coach at each age group to ensure the girls receive high quality coaching at all times.

With the reputation growing, they have attracted the most talented youth players in the region to substantial girls development programme. This will see their ladies section will grow in strength for years to come with multiple teams being created to allow everybody an opportunity to play.
Adult Female Football training sessions re-start at Hampton FC on Wednesday 25th June and anybody who will be 16+ on 1st September will be able to play. This will be especially attractive to players who played at a high level previously, but need to be gently re-introduced to playing after a break.
The club is especially keen to hear from players who may have dropped out of football over the past few seasons and are interested in getting back into football. As HFC are now unquestionably Peterborough's largest provider of female football, we offer outstanding opportunities for those who commit to the club at an early stage.

Funding from the Sport England Sportivate programme is allow the club to keep football affordable, with the first two blocks of six sessions costing only £3 (payable in advance), so that is just 50p per session!

The substantial work the club have done over the past three years to create this legacy has provided a fully sustainable football provision for all girls and ladies in the city.
If you like some more details about how you could get involved in Peterborough's premier female football club you can contact Steve Purnell on (07964) 496259 or steve@hamptonfc.co.uk.
