Cardiff Met Ladies recovered lost pride and ended their UEFA Women's Champions League campaign on a winning note with a fine 2-1 victory over group hosts Ouriense.
After a disastrous result against Standard Liege three days ago, the Welsh Premier Women's League title holders found themselves up against when taking on the group leaders, by going behind in the fourteenth minute when Mariana Coelho scored.
However, Kerry Harris' side staged a great comeback with Emily Allen equalising ahead of half time and Ellie Sargent giving them victory via an injury time strike.
Despite the defeat, Ouriense still progress to the knockout stages, finishing on top of the group due to their earlier win against Standard Liege.
