Spartans meanwhile ran out 5-2 winners away to Forfar Farmington in wet and windy conditions at Station Park. Lindsey Dunbar gave Forfar an early lead which was cancelled out by Katie Reilly and Kerry Montgomery ensured that Spartans were in front at the break. Nicky Grant equalised early in the second half but with five minutes left, with extra time, Reilly scored her second goal and Sarah Ewens netted twice to seal victory for the Edinburgh side.

Glasgow battled hard to stay in the game but were undone twice in the second half when Carolina Richardson and Kirstin McGuire both found the net with long range strikes.
