London & South East League
Carshalton Athletic recorded the biggest win on the opening day in the Premier Division when scoring six without reply past newly promoted Bexhill Utd. Laura Curtis led the scoring with a hat-trick and there was one apiece from Ella Bale, Alison Hall and Melanie Laidlaw-Anderson. Fulham FC Foundation, playing their first league match under their new name, started off in style with a 7-4 victory at Aylesford. Gemma Fraser bagged a hat-trick and she was joined on the scoresheet by Helen Ogle, Verity Snow, Lauren Armstrong and Lauren Clisby. Chelsea Berlin and Carla Williams both hit doubles, along with an own goal in Old Actonians' 5-2 success against Hassocks whilst London Corinthians defeated Eastbourne Town 4-2 thanks to Katherine Long (2), Chanel Richards and Hannah Titchener. All in all, 38 goals were scored in the division's six matches and Sophie Muller was another hat-trick scorer as Kikk Utd narrowly beat AFC Wimbledon 3-2, while strikes from Alice Phillips and Amanda Beeput earned Maidstone Utd a 2-1 victory away to Crawley Wasps.
North East League
Blyth Town have started well in their new league and their 3-0 victory over Tynedale has taken them into the semi finals of the Northern League Cup. Hannah Smith scored twice and Erin Middleton the other for Blyth. Sarah Bennett netted four times along with Ella Stevenson, Julie Duggan, Ashley Jackson, Steph O'Brien and Steph Ord as Whitley Bay eased past Kader FC with a nine-goal win and Gateshead Rutherford Ravens notched up a 3-1 success at Birtley St Josephs courtesy of a Rachel Wilson brace and Jennifer Brennan.
Amy Ward led the scoring with a hat-trick as Westella & Willerby won 9-0 against Scunthorpe & Bottesford in the Southern League Cup. Natasha Linford (2), Charmaine Pinder, Rebekah Jones, Amy Thompson and Rebekah Walker added the others to book Westella a quarter final meeting Wetherby Athletic, who beat Malet Lambert YC 6-1 thanks to a Debra Slater hat-trick, Adele Murphy double and Beryl Hockey. Barnsley won 2-0 at Wakefield and now face Doncaster Belles (Women's).
