Cardiff Met Ladies remain as the early leaders of the Welsh Premier Women's League after scoring ten times without reply against Aberystwyth Town.
The reigning Champions got off to a flying start with Sophie Scherschel scoring twice inside the opening five minutes and after Ellie Sargent had added a third, Scherschel completed her hat-trick shortly afterwards. Emily Brown netted a brace ahead of half time and in the second half, Sargent also went on to finish off a hat-trick with Chloe Tucker and Emily Allen joining her on the scoresheet.
Llandudno join Cardiff Met on six points as they won 2-0 against Wrexham. Both goals came in the first half, Steph Walsh opening the scoring with two minutes on the clock and Catrin Thomas added the second six minutes before half time to maintain Llandudno's good start to the season.
Newcastle Emlyn had been Llandudno's victims on the opening day but they bounced back to beat Rhyl & Prestatyn 5-1. The newly promoted side did take an early lead through Zoe Stopford but Bianca Guy equalised two minutes and soon put her side in front for the first time. Debbie Wise made it three, eight minutes into the second half, before Guy completed a great day for herself by adding two more to round off a four-goal haul.
