Seagulls ascend to top

With Tottenham Hotspur on Premier League Cup duty, Brighton & Hove Albion replaced them at the top of the table with a 5-0 victory away to Plymouth Argyle. 
Lucy Somes scored a hat-trick for the Seagulls along with Amy Green and Charlotte Owen.
Portsmouth kept up their improving form by scoring six without reply against Keynsham Town. Charley Wilson netted twice for Pompey and she was joined on the scoresheet by Gemma Hillier, Molly Clark, Lucy Quinn and Shannon Sievwright.
Copsewood (Coventry) celebrated their first ever victory in the Premier League when beating West Ham Utd 1-0. Nicola Foskett scored the only goal of the game for Copsewood, midway through the first half.
