Newcastle Utd took over the leadership of the Northern Division with a 4-0 victory away to Leeds Ladies. Amy Perch gave them the lead and they went on to add further goals through Siobhan Jones (2) and Jade Anderson. Victoria Rich hit a hat-trick as Bradford City opened up by beating Huddersfield Town 10-2. Chloe Pennisi added a brace and there was one each from Abigail Barker, Sarah Dobby, Rosie McDonnell, Zoe Roberts and Ellie Rockett. Julia Hogan scored a hat-trick along with Laura Elford and Jessica Gittings as Guiseley AFC Vixens won 5-1 at Mansfield Town.
 
Midland Division leaders Coventry City defeated FC Reedswood 7-1 courtesy of a Megan Ralph hat-trick and doubles from Alison Forbes and Sami Ryder. Nottingham Forest meanwhile scored seven without reply past Leicester City Ladies thanks to Beth Heath-Harvey (2), Tara Guyler, Jessica Thompson, Jennifer Foster, Sarah Richardson and Ciara Albas-Martin.
 
Brighton & Hove Albion are top of the Southern Division after winning 3-1 at Lewes, on goal difference from Charlton Athletic who also won 3-1 against West Ham Utd thanks to Francesca Tye (2) and Hope Nash. Megan Gratton scored a brace along with Brittany Jeal, Laura Newsome, Carla Perkins, Ellie Skinner and Rebecca Hunt for Portsmouth in their 7-1 victory over Gillingham. Dionne Manning (2) and Shona Chitate-Samuriwo earned Tottenham Hotspur a 3-0 win against Bedford Ladies whilst Queen's Park Rangers defeated Chichester City 2-0 with goals from Rachel O'Regan and Fern Colepio. Crystal Palace shared a 1-1 draw with C & K Basildon, who found the net through Ashley Debnam.
 
Aston Villa commenced the Northern Division season in the FA WSL Development League by winning 6-0 away to Doncaster Rovers Belles. Charlie Wellings scored a hat-trick as Birmingham City beat Notts County 5-0, Jaymee Dudley and Sian Johnson adding the others. Mollie Green's brace and Hannah Dale ensured that Liverpool won 3-0 at Sunderland and Manchester City won 1-0 against Durham Women, Issy Hayes netting the game's only goal.
 
Arsenal started their Southern Division title defence by beating Millwall Lionesses 5-1. Carla Humphrey was on target twice along with Evie Clarke, Frances Steele and Yukari Kinga. Chelsea defeated London Bees 5-3 with strikes from Rosella Ayane (2), Laura Rafferty, Jenna Dear and Ellie Mason. Becky Dandridge, Stacey Wiggins, Hannah MacKenzie and Rebekah Haines were on the scoresheet as Reading FC Women edged out Bristol Academy 4-3 and Oxford Utd won 2-1 against Watford thanks to Lindsay Pinker and Melissa Farrow.
