Glasgow City retained the Scottish Women's Premier League for the eighth season in a row without kicking a ball on Wednesday night.
City were confirmed as Champions once again after Rangers, the only remaining team who could still have caught them, were beaten 2-0 by in-form Spartans.
Last week, the Edinburgh side became the first side to beat Glasgow City in a league game for six years and two second half goals saw them to victory against the team in the driving seat for the runners-up spot. They took the lead midway through the second half through Lana Clelland, who had only been on the pitch for two minutes as a substitute, and Kerry Montgomery wrapped up the points with the second goal.
Spartans' win has now opened up the race for second place, with Hibernian closing to within two points of Rangers after winning 4-0 against Aberdeen at Easter Road on Tuesday night. Clare Williamson, Joelle Murray, Lizzie Arnot and Kirsty Smith scored the goals to crown a fine performance from Hibs to rekindle their runners-up hopes.
