Coventry to swim the channel!
 Women's Football News 7 Oct 2014
On Saturday 18th October, Warwick University will host a fundraising event which sees Coventry City Ladies attempt to swim the channel.
All members of the thriving football club ranging from Under-11s to board members will enter the water and embark on an 8-hour swim in an attempt to complete 1,416 lengths, which equates to 21 miles - the distance of the channel.
Money raised during this event will help support the club and improve the quality of facilities and opportunities offered to the girls and women at the club. Coventry City Ladies FC already provide a positive and professional environment but it is no secret that money fuels the footballing world, and CCLFC are always looking for ways to better their current situation. Please get involved and help our club develop.
Any sponsorship towards this event would be greatly received, please contact jadeogle@outlook.com for further details.
