Ellistown aim to keep up winning streak
 Women's Football News 31 Oct 2014
Ellistown are having a fine season in the East Midlands League and have set their sights on the F.A.Women's Cup this week and the challenge of taking on Radcliffe Olympic.
The Leicestershire club currently have a 100% record in the Premier Division but Sunday's game gives them an opportunity to play against Premier League opponents following victories in the previous rounds against Teversal and Wyrley Ladies.
"After a great start to the season, we are relishing the chance to test ourselves against opposition from a higher division team in Radcliffe Olympic," Ellistown captain Kathryn Hollier told Women's Soccer Scene.
"They are a strong team but after our dramatic win [against Wyrley Ladies] in the previous round and five wins out of five in the league, our confidence is high and we will do all we can to ensure Ellistown WFC are in the draw for the next round."
General Manager, Mick Garton added: "With two new dedicated football coaches brought over from AFC Trinity LFC in Karl and Callum along with several new players signed for the current season in top scorer, Emma Moore, midfield dynamo Sam Clarke and others added to an already strong nucleus of players, then I am not really surprised at our great start to the season and our progress in the FA Women's Cup.
"We are in the best form ever and I am really looking forward to taking on this top club from the Premier League!"
Emma Moore is currently the team's leading goalscorer and she said: "I am buzzing to be playing in the Third Round of the FA Women's Cup on Sunday and I am raring to go!"
Radcliffe Olympic will be hosting the tie on Sunday, which kicks off at 1pm.
