Four up for FAWPL award
 Women's Football News 8 Nov 2014
Four players have been nominated for the FA Women's Premier League Players' Player of the Year award for the 2013-14 season.
Three of the players have come from the Southern Division with striker Charlotte Gurr, then of Gillingham and now of Brighton & Hove Albion being amongst them along with Charlton Athletic striker Sam Pittuck, Portsmouth midfielder Lucy Quinn and the sole nominee from the Northern Division, Sheffield FC goal machine Jodie Michalska.
The Manager of the Year award, which was won last year by Watford's John Salamon, is being contested by three bosses. The two title winning managers, Helen Mitchell of Sheffield FC and Coventry City's Craig Nicholls, are up for the award along with Brighton & Hove Albion boss James Marrs, who led Gillingham to the runners-up spot in the Southern Division last season.
There is also a Club of the Year award for the Premier League and the three nominated are Derby County, Sheffield FC and Tottenham Hotspur.
The winners will be revealed at the FA Women's Football Awards next Friday evening, 14th November at Madame Tussauds.
