Glasgow City jet off to Zurich on Friday morning for the first match of their two leg last 16 tie against Swiss Champions FC Zurich as they aim to reach the quarter finals of the UEFA Women's Champions League for the first time.
City overcame Polish side Medyk Konin 3-2 on aggregate to reach the last 16 for the third time in four years, but they have never before reached the last eight of Europe's most elite club competition.
An impressive 3-0 home victory overturned a 2-0 away defeat to Konin, but City midfield star Jo Love knows her side cannot afford to return from Zurich at such a disadvantage again.
She said: "After the desire we showed to come back from the 2-0 away defeat in Poland, we are determined to put ourselves in the best possible position, from the start of this leg, to make the quarter finals. It is going to be a really tough tie given Zurich's history in the Champions League, but I strongly believe we have the talent and appetite required to make this happen for the first time in Glasgow City and indeed Scottish history."
Glasgow City take on FC Zurich at Stadion Letzigrund, Zurich on Sunday, 4pm kick off GMT. The match will be streamed live via https://www.mycujoo.tv/fczurichfrauen The return leg will be played on Wednesday 12th November, 7.30pm at Excelsior Stadium, Airdrie.
Tickets are currently on sale via www.glasgowcityfc.co.uk priced £5 adults, U16's £2. Entry to the match is also possible via a cash gate at the turnstiles on the night of the match.
